When Gemma built her team, she focused on finding like-minded souls who are not just perfectionists in makeup or hair, but also stylists with the ability to connect with our brides and clients as individuals.

Building our Pro Artistry team based on this philosophy was not easy, but Gemma couldn’t be prouder of the team and the recognition behind Celfie.

Our Story

CÉLFIE has been established since 2013. Before dedicating her focus to Bridal Hair and Makeup, Gemma operated as a Freelance Hair business, creating hairstyles and colours in homes across the Wiltshire Region working around her young family.

As soon as she landed her first bridal hair booking in 2015, Gemma’s passion and future was sealed! This passion led Gemma to certify in the foundation of fashion makeup at DFMA Academy in Bournemouth in September 2016.

Gemma gained a vast amounts of experience by not only being part of over 100’s of wedding mornings but also working on bridal fashion shoots that have been published in magazines.

Gemma opened a salon in 2023 but quickly realised that having a salon took up to much valuable time from what she loved doing. So decided to depart ways and open up a home-from-home studio, converting her garage to an aesthetically pleasing space. Where she welcomes her brides in for a warm and welcoming bridal preview experience.

Today, Gemma dedicates her time solely to bridal & has trained with some of the best in the wedding business, such as the Curl Directive, Kristina Gaspas & Kasia Fortuna.

She feels incredibly fortunate to be able to call this business her full time job.

Celfie Ltd is now a VAT-registered company, proudly supported by a team of talented women who help keep everything running seamlessly.
